Default 8110 Bluetooth - Can't transfer ringtones, photos, etc

Wanted to use a BB8110 as a general GSM mobile, not allignned with any BB Service Provider yet, Installed BB 8110 software on my laptop but it fails to detect the USB device. Also unable to receive ring tones, photos, songs etc thr'u bluetooth from any other mobile or laptop ?? Thanks for any help!

My laptop/destop fails 2 detect BB 8110 USB connection & fails to sync after installation the manufacturer Software. Also it can sent message or photo th'u bluetooth to another Mobile but fails to recive the same even after pairing, Please help/suggest needful & let me know if want to use it as a simple GSM mobile without BB email services. Prabhat

Welcome to the forums.

For future reference, could you please title your thread to something relevant to your issue, such as "Can't transfer ringtones, photos, etc."

What software did you install? You need Desktop Manager. If you have a media card, you don't need Roxio Media Manager. If you do no, you will need to download Desktop Manager with Roxio Media Media Manager.
