I just got a 8130 Pearl and this is my first Blackberry so I am pretty much lost. Thanks to your post and other sites I have figured out quite a bit. However, I am having one issue that is driving me nuts! I am trying to setup the voice dialing feature but it gets to 97% of my address book and tells me I am out of device memory. I had a 1 gb media card in it which I upgraded to an 8gb media card so I have plenty of external memory. I have gone into the applications to tryt o have as many of them save to the external memory as possible. Unfortunately the only one that I have any control over seems to the camera. I only have one app other than those that came with the phone so far. Can someone please tell me how to check how much device memory I have available? Also how can I fix this issue as I am really in need of this app to work for me? Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer me!

Options>Status will give you your "file free". Also, check in the FAQ for clearing up memory.

Check to see what programs you have running in the background. Too many programs may usually slow things down. Press the ALT + Escape key to see what's running. There are some programs you can't close: phone (call log), messages, home, browser, BBM, and a few others. Other than that be sure to close out of a program properly so it's not running needlessly.
