Default 8100 unlock

Please Login to Remove!

Hi! I changed my pearl 8100 bb for the 8350i.
I want to give my old bb to my wife. The problem is that she has a different provider. I just want to confirm if the only option to unlock my bb is paying to obtain the unlock codes.
There isn't another way? Any software?
I don't trust too much in the sites and I am in Argentina.
Many thanks in advance.
I hope that the post is in the correct category.

Some carriers will provide unlock codes if you have been a customer in good standing for some length of time. Otherwise you will need to pay for the unlock code. Horizon Wireless Online, one of our sponsors, is a reputable source.

Just be sure her carrier supports the same technology (GSM, iDen or CDMA) and also supports the BB.
