Default how do I monitor my data usage?

I am worried about exceeding my data usage limit (500mb). How do I monitor my usage? Is that the cache thing?
Does opening email msgs count as data usage?
What does 1300 K mean in terms of mb?
Thank you
Tanya

Nope, it's not the cache. Yes. opening (and downloading email) counts. 1300K means about 1.3MB of data. It may be well worth the little bit extra to get an unlimited email/web plan, unless you are hooked up to a BB server (BES) network.
