Default copy contact info from address book to sim card

Please Login to Remove!

I have tried the following: open contacts with trackball, select contact, push menu button. Then I should (according to instruction manual) push on "copy to SIM phone book. However, the only selection option is "SIM phone book". when I push on that button, it brings me to the already (pre-added) standard telephone nr my provider has included into the SIIM card.

I can manually add nr tel. nr in my SIM card; but of course would prefer to just copy/paste. Thanks for your help

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Not quite understanding what your question is. But you can only copy one phone number at a time from the adress book to the SIM card. If you want to manually cut and paste a number you have to go into edit mode in the adress book, highlight the number, press the menu key for copy, then go to the SIM card and paste the number to a new contact or existing one.
