Default Remove IT policy from OS 4.5 - 06-30-2009, 12:33 PM

I have a second hand unlocked BB. I have updated it to v4.5. I have the firewall enabled and whenever I try to use Quickpull, it shows an error (java.lang.pointer.....something like that). When I try to use socket connection on operamini browsers, it shows a message that:

"The application operette$2dhifi has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy".

I have tried to remove the IT policy using resettofactory in JL_Cmdr. But still receives the above message. Please tell me how can I remove this IT policy.......

And there is absolutely no problem if the firewall is disabled, but I want it enabled because I don't like the idea of granting permission every time to each application to connect to internet or memory card.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Check on BBFAQ on the top of the page and read the article on "removing an IT policy"

Just remember that if you are using this for work, and they find out you removed it, its a good chance ull get fired

I have seen that method. But I think that is for v4.2 or lower and jl_cmdr method for v4.3 or higher. And I have already tried the latter. Anyother way.........

MFI is pirated software and not legal for use, hence we do not discuss or recommend it here.
