So I just got my Pearl today. Ive had it before but I dont remember having this specific problem or how I fixed it.
How can I make my missed calls and emails stop showing up in the text message inbox??
Any advice is appreciated.

do you mean the icon labelled MESSAGES?
you can seperate SMS from this by going to messages - options - general options - sms and email inbox to seperate.
