I backed up my contacts (got a new Blackberry Pearl), and it is saved as an ipd file. How do I get these back on my phone?

Be a little patient.

Connect your device to your PC, launch Desktop Manager, select Backup/Restore, select Advanced. Click on File > Open. Locate the .idp file. On the left column, select address book, and then click the arrow to move it to the device database.

Maybe if you're waiting on food in a restaurant

Remember, everyone here (including the Mods) volunteer their time to help others. They have lives outside of the forums.

Let us know how it goes.
