How come when someone texts me, i don't hear the sound no more?

Even if my profile says LOUD, it doesn't make the sound.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it dont. but 80% of the time, it doesn't.

and 20% of the time when it does make the sound, it takes about 1 minute or so for the sound to work.


nothing like this ever happen, it's weird, any suggestions?

With your device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds, replace the battery and allow your BB to reboot. See if it works now.
