Hi All,

Have a BB Pearl 8110, and think it's great, but have a question about mail delivery & scheduling it.

My old Nokia E61 had "BB Services" (think that was the name), which allowed the phone to operate as a BB via the corporate BES. Didn't really like the E61, but had 1 fantastic option - you could set the BB Services to switch on and off on schedule (separate one for Weekday and Weekend). So I could set it to not receive email at all on the weekend, and never after 8pm or whatever.

I can't find any similar option on the BB, and wonder if anyone knows either:
a) Where I should be looking to find it (if it exists), or
b) Any apps that do this?

What I've been doing to get around it is setting the profile to Phone Only, which prevents the alerts, but I still see that there's email if I look at the display when someone calls!

Options -> Auto On/Off

Though this turns the whole thing on amd off so not really what you wamt.

There are after market options to change the profile automatically, but they are not very elegant.

Thanks for the reply, but no, not what I'm after- I want to be able to make & receive calls & SMS messages - i.e. use it as a phone without email arriving, and have access to Data Services like web browsing if needed.

There is a manual option to disable mail delivery in Email Settings - but I think that when I tested it, the mail that's sent while it's disabled is never delivered. I want it to be queued and "come through" in the morning when I come online.

I'm a little surprised that it's not a standard option - It was such a handy option that saved both my own sanity and many fights with the other half!
