Default keypad problem

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, Today i went to work and it was raining out. I work at a golf course so i was in the rain and my phone was inside my pocket. After about 3 hours of working outside in the rain i pulled out my phone and realized that i could not unlock the keypad (press * then the call button) so i pulled my battery and booted my phone up. Once booted up i used the trackball and clicked on messages. I then noticed that when i press my trackball it dials X and my escape key dials *. When i try and use the escape key outside of dial it acts as the shift button, my menu key dials W and E and doesn't work outside of dial. Also my send key is not working correctly (turns numbers into letters once i press it to make a call) I don't know what to do to fix the problem, i tried using a hairdryer to dry it off thinking it was water damage but its still not working correctly. can anyone help me figure out this problem? and is their anyone that has the same problem?

Default

sounds like major water damage

take your battery out, let your phone sit in rice for 2 days and try again
