Wink Media Net usage on Blackberry 8100/Any Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

This is in regards to using Media net instead of purchasiing the blackberry data services/plan. I have tried this with the Pearl 8100 but should in theory work with any blackberry. Buy/borrow a regular/old style flip phone or bar phone(non-smartphone/pda) and setup media net on it, call AT&T and don't tell them you are using a blackberry tell them you are using whatever phone you are setting up and get it to work with media net. After it is fully setup and functional, media net access and mms sending and recieving, then swap the sim card into the blackberry and it should work, if the blackberry has been used before or is not setup properly (browser configuration is empty or can't be set to media net) you have have to update to latest OS and run the JL_Cmder, using the "resettofactory" NOT the "Wipe". This will do away with the password lock on OS 4.3 and later, as well it will configure the browser to media net. Let me know if this work for anyone/everyone else.
