Default SIM Card Rejected?

Hi,

I recently purchased an 8110 from someone. It is equipped for AT&T but it will not accept my SIM card. I have Pay As You Go AT&T. I had a Pearl previously and my SIM worked just fine in it. I'm not sure what the problem is. I've inserted the SIM as it says to and it still won't accept it.... does anyone know what might be wrong?

Welcome..

First, double check to see that it is really unlocked - How do I determine if my BlackBerry is "unlocked"? - BlackBerryFAQ

If it is unlocked, and the SIM is in properly, call AT&T to see if the phone has been reported as stolen or lost.
