My BlackBerry Pearl 8100 got a problem. It's display goes off after 10 seconds and by pressing any key its not coming back to normal. If any new call comes then it wakes up and i cant attend the calls. Why this is happening ?

One more issue is, when am typing for single space it shows 10 space, for single delete it deletes multiple words. from yesterday am getting this prob.

its worked fine for last 2 years. I dont know the issue. PLease help me to fix this.

Thanks,
Dharma

TRy pulling the battery for about 30 seconds with the device powered on. Has it been exposed to liquids lately?

Thanks for your reply,

I tried reboot by removing battery but no improvement. And i checked some other forums but no related issues.

I thought it may be trelated to memory issue. But it has enough memory too.
