I bought a Blackberry Pearl 8120 from a friend about a month ago and it has worked fine except sometimes when I try to take a picture the phone completely turns off, and the flash stays on. The phone won't turn on afterward and I have to take the battery out to reboot it. Also, sometimes it will just randomly turn off and reboot itself. Can anyone help me with these problems?

It may be a bad media card.

Are you using a memory card? It may have an error or need to be formatted. Back up the card to your computer then use the comp to format the card.

I took out my 4gb PNY memory card and when I took a picture it didn't turn off, so I formatted the card and when I put it back in I took a picture and it cut off again. The memory card is brand new, I bought it because I was having trouble with my previous memory card also. When I format the memory card, what settings should I use for file system and allocation unit size?
