Default Sure Type Crazy Suggestions

Please Login to Remove!

My Sure Type gives me crazy suggestions rather than REAL words. It's infuriating! I was going to enable multitype but am hesitant. Is there a way to edit what word option Sure Type offers? Thanks for the help!

Yes, you can edit the Custom Dictionary to remove the words you don't want to be offered as suggestions. I think it's under Options -> Custom Dictionary or Options -> Language -> Custom Dictionary.

Been a while since I've used a SureType device....

Thanks, I've done that before and still the crazy suggestions. I'm just going to enable multitype and get on with it!

not sure if this will help you, but when I first started using suretype I watched everything it did and edited the words letter by letter. Obviously this can be quite frustrating and so I thought suretype sucked. Then my girlfriend's daughter told me to ignore what suretype was doing till I had entered an entire word. This works much better. Just ignore the suggestions till you have the entire word, or at least enough till the word you want is listed in the drop down.

Are the crazy words that keep popping up in your custom dictionary? I used to have that problem until I deleted all words (not just the crazy ones) in my custom dictionary and started over with a clean dictionary.
