Default 8100, Red light flashes twice and thats all

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

I have done a lot of searching through the various websites for information on this and tried all sorts of things but I have so far been unable to get the device to work.

My problem is that I have a 8100 unit that just sits with a red flashing light. The light flashes twice then there is a pause of about 3 seconds and then it flashes again

I have removed the battery and left it alone for a good hour.

I have tried connecting the unit to the PC with out the battery

I have tried connecting the unit to the PC with the battery

However as soon as the device gets power it just starts flashing.

Are there any hard reset button combinations?

Many thanks,

Nope we have a box full of "Old" devices that no one new the status of at work.

So over the past few days have been checking the devices and updating them.

This one is one of the last ones to sort out
