So, my Pearl won't charge. So far i think is the charging port. I know for a fact that it isnt the charger, and im pretty sure it's not the battery. the battery is drained by now all the phone does when i plug in the charger is trun the red LED for a min or two, turn on the battery charging image, but then in like 5 minutes it stops. also, when i was trying to charge it, the charging icon at the top would only stay on for 5 seconds and stop
any advice, reccomendations or comments? i really need the blackberry to work
btw, i dont hv insurance for it and the warranty period is over

I would try a new charger. If the charger is getting to hot it might be shutting down? Just take it to Sprint and ask them to let you charge your phone and try it out before you spend money.
