Default New email messages arriving on BB as you compose on your computer - 10-05-2009, 11:14 AM

Heya

I'm new to blackberries and have bought one second hand from a friend.

The problem I'm having is that as I type emails on my laptop my blackberry receives them periodically, say every minute, showing a new message in my inbox of whatever I've written so far so by the end of an email i may have 10 messages in my blackberry inbox which are completely unwanted.

has anyone had this problem/know what to do

many many thanks for any help

James

Hi,

If you go into your help menu (the question mark) then to messages, then email messages, then email message basics, the last two items listed may be able to help you figure out how to stop storing emails sent from your device on your computer and visa versa.

Not sure if this is what you wanted help with, but the help icon is pretty useful.

Thanks,

Sounds like you are getting the auto drafts sent to you as they are made. Might check you email settings on your account (not device) to not send drafts messages.
