Question BBM 5.0 on 8130

Please Login to Remove!

Is anybody having any luck running BBM 5 on their 81xx? I got it thru appworld, but it took multiple attempts to install. It finally installed but it slowed my phone down quite a bit...lots of lag with it installed. File Free dropped down below 1MB. I dropped back to BBM 4.5

I also had major issue installing it on my vzw that included multiple attempts over a week so I gave up after it deleted all of my BBM contacts, several days later had to do a batt pull and all of a sudden 5.0 took off even after I reinstalled 4.5 my alltel took first time and absolutely no trouble what so ever

I'd recommend dumping AppWorld as it's like 2.5M and the 8130 just doesn't have a lot of device memory to start with (as compared to the newer devices). That *might* help...a little.

thanx...i already was trying to decide what apps to keep/remove. I think i will keep bbm 4.5. i like the appworld too. i don't use bbm much anyways, so all i probably need is the basic functionality of bbm 4.5. whenever the tour2/essex comes out i will get that phone & get bbm 5 then.
