Default An issue with texting...

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Previously I owned a T-Mobile 8100 BlackBerry before I dropped it in the toilet. While using the T-mobile 8100 BB, my carrier was AT&T.

I now have a new Blackberry 8100 but this one is made from AT&T.

Something is wrong with the texting. On my previous blackberry, I have no problems texting. It automatically entered in english words correctly with me not having to do modification on what words I wanted or how to properly spell it at all. Any words that are not in the english dictionary would go to the custom word list.

With my new BB, it seems that while texting, the phone picks and choose which words it thinks I want implemented and I constantly have to modify the spelling and what word I want. For example, if i want to type in good, it gives me "hoof". When I am trying to put in a word together that is in the english language, it wont automatically spell that word and implement it. If I go to my custom word list, many perfectly good english words that are in the dictionary would be there.

I of course have AutoText on. If you were to go to options>SMS Text>Disable Auto Text, the option would be set on no.

What could be the issue and how can I fix this?
