Default Autodim and key backlighting - 11-06-2009, 10:12 AM

v4.5.0.174

Changing the autodim feature does not seem to do anything. I have my backlight at 100 and autodim off but it still seems to dim.

Also is there a way to make the backlighting on the keys on whenever the backlight comes on.

I am trying to light this thing up as much as possible to make it easier for me to read without the reading glasses on.

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Have you tried a battery pull after changing the autodim settings?

Also, believe that keys only light up when the screen dims (tells the device you are in a low light situation). Under full brightness (outdoors) there's no need to have the keyboard light up.

Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
