Default USB Mode Screenless

My Blackberry Pearl suffered pool water damage and now the screen doesn't work at all. I am trying to get the photos of of it with the desktop manager but have had no luck. Is there a surefire way that I can enter certain keystrokes so that I may put it into USB mode and retrieve my files from it? Can someone with a working screen please tell me the exact keys that I must press?

Thanks!

If i plug my bb in, a message appears asking wether i will switch into usb-mode or not, setting the focus to the "no" button. So if you slightly scroll down the trackball a little an then press it the focus will change to "yes" and the mass-storage mode will be enabled (if it works at all after your incident).
There are three choices: no, yes, cancel. So you may have to try a little, how far to scroll before pressing.
Next time get yourself a sd-card. You can pull it out and read it with any other cardreader-device.
Regards, Frank
