I've just received the Pearl from a friend. I unlocked it (previously with Rogers)and is currently with Fido. I was told that I can send/receive messages between blackberries. However, I am unable to send or receive and messages. I'm not talking about texting that goes through the phone carriers. Does anyone know what I can do to correct this?
Also, is there an online manual to the the series? She lost the booklet.
Blackberry data plan. Not generic data service. But blackberry data. Contact your service provider. It may be an add-on to a qualified voice plan, or included in a bundle.
So it's Blackberry data plan? Would there jsu add it without cost? My understanding of the messaging between blackerries is that it's free. As I have several friends who can message each other without cost. In fact one friend was cut off from his carrier (verizon) and was still able to message to another blackberry (Rogers).
