I recently had problems with my BlackBerry Pearl 8120 crashing so I had a replacement handset sent to me.
I've since tried to use the new handset as before, after restoring the data and switching the device registration to the new handset. Most of the features have been restored as before.
I am, however, still experiencing the problem that my BlackBerry will notify me of a new email but when I open the email application, it doesn't show any new mail. This is the same for all my email accounts I've set up on the BlackBerry. I've tried to edit the settings for the email accounts and had Service Books sent but nothing helps. So far I have 9 emails that are apparently unread that I can't see.
What have I done wrong? I think I prefered it when the handset just crashed occasionally!
