thanx
---------------------------
My name is Michael and i am a faithfull pearl user ( 8100 series)/att who is seriously considering upgrading to a gemini 8500 or 8900

I would appreciate answers to 2 questions
1) is the 8500 stronger than the 8100 ? in terms of processing speed, space/memory for applications . I prefer the form factor of the pearl but find it not powerful enough . If the 8500 packs a better punch i would forego on the form factor of the 8100
2) are there big differences between the 8500 and the 8900 and if so what are they . form factor wise they look identical

thank you in advance

Against forum rules to post a thread multiple times...

Anyhow, go to Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at BlackBerry.com - they have a comparisons page where you can compare the specifications of the 8100 and the 8520 (there is no 8500).

There are several threads on the differences between the 8520 and the 8900 (some consider the 8520 an entry level BlackBerry, with fewer capabilities than the 8900). Again, the comparisons page will tell you that.
