Ideas? Sounds like your upgrade didn't.

So, if you remove the battery for a good minute and then replace it, same thing? And while you have the battery out, remove the microSD card (if you have one) and keep it out for the time being. What happens?

Not yet. Take a look at the following FAQ articles:

How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ

What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

The gist is you are going to wipe the OS from the blackberry. You will be left with a 507 error when you power it up (hopefully).

Look at the latest OS threads stickied at the top of the forum. Follow the instructions to download and install the latest OS for your model blackberry. The OS can be from any carrier so long as it is for your model. Be sure you use the OS for your model.

Good luck.

Fingers crossed here.

Two more points:

Use a USB port on the box. Don't use a hub, and don't use a USB port on a keyboard, or anything like that. If you are using a PC, it is advised to use a USB port on the back of the box. If you are using a laptop, you may want to use a desktop. Just to be safe this time around.

And keep the microSD card out while you are doing this.

So, we are here again, I followed all step by step but that still does not connect to AppLoader. I must tell you that the pc recognizes the blackberry to usb port. I will still trying. Thanks

Wirelessly posted

Ok. Keep trying. I haven't been there myself, but what I read is keep trying until you catch it at the right time and loader connects. Take a look through the JL_CMDER thread for tips if you don't get it.
