I am really hoping that someone can help me out. I have a Pearl, 8130, and I had to send it away to get fixed. When it came back I could no longer set different ringtones for different contacts. I don't know how to fix this, but I have all these ringtones and can only use 1 at a time. I honestly don't want to take it back up to where I took it to originally because I ended up going 8 weeks without my BB.

I am not given the option to set a customize ringtone for my contacts like I did before, I have tried a few different things, all very obvious but nothing is working.

Can someone PLEASE help me?

Have you tried this:

Open the address book and highlight a contact. Press the menu (blackberry) key. Scroll down to the choice that says "Add Custom Ringtone".

The other option is to go to your profiles and create an exception. This will allow you to set specific ringtones for specific callers.
