Default I get my emails in my 'messages' section

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I just set up my email but it all shows up in my 'messages' section where I used to only get text messages when I had a Curve phone... I had a separate icon for my emails only and a the messages icon was for my texts only. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

First. I think you need to understand a little more what the Messages folder does. It is a catch-all folder. All incoming messages will go to that folder, SMS, email (from all accounts), etc. will show in there.

Here is what you can do. Go to Messages > Options > General Options and set SMS & Email to Separate.
