Unhappy Bought 8110 in india using it in malaysia

Its been more than a year i bought my blackberry in india, it exported from usa. Now the local server maxis could not set it to let me use the internet on it. I have been using it as a normal phone, what a waste. Now i feel like setting it up myself and jump to another server. I feel i should wipe out the earlier stuff then see if it is compatible and then i sign up with the new server. Guide me friends online how do i format/wipe out the whole instrument and set it back as new.

You have to have a BB data plan from your carrier. If they do not support the BB, then there is nothing you can really do.
