Default recurrence appointments on blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

hello,
I am having trouble with outlook-calendar sync
my reccurence appointments, that appear weekly, after the sync, are jumbled on my blackberry, so the phone doesnt follow outlook . I searched the trouble shooter, I am not using Lotus. Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance

Not sure I follow what you mean by jumbled. Is it just the recurring appointments?

My first thought was on whether you blackberry is set to the same time zone and same date as your computer and Outlook. But if that were the case, it would mess up all appointments that sync.

thanx ira
yes its just the recurring appointments, all others are fine. the phone is set to the same time zone (which i do manually because for some reason when i sync it changes time zone) and the problem is that when it comes to meetings i have set on outlook to appear weekly - specific day+time, most of them appear on the phone one day later. I even tried wiping handleld yesterday but no good. when i open an appointment that reccurs (weekly) the details of the days are wrong f.e instead of wednesday it says thirsday (but time zone IS correct). I don use bis, I am just using it as a phone. The trouble shooter said "if you are using lotus, you will not be able to schedule multiple days" but I m not using Lotus.
Browsing other forums I have seen similar posts but no solution post.
help...

OK. First, look in the sync settings in desktop manager. Find the option for set the device clock and uncheck it (turn it off) so that desktop manager does not reset the clock on the blackberry. Then set the blackberry time zone in options to the same time zone as the computer and Outlook. Adjust the blackberry clock if you have to so that the time is as near as possible to the computers time.

Delete the recurring appointments on the computer. Correct the recurring appointments on the blackberry, if you have to.

Now, connect the blackberry to the computer and re-synce. See what happens.
