Wirelessly posted (L'neuf trois)

I'm pretty sure docs to go works on the 8100. Might need to upgrade your OS if you're running anything less than OS4.5.

From what I understand yes. I had a friend with an 8100 and he had Doc2Go and was able to view Word docs.

Could you elaborate on what you mean when you say can't get it to go anywhere?

Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in. But usually it's an option when you install/upgrade your OS. Did your phone already come with OS 4.5?

To check your OS version, go to Options>About.

When you upgraded the OS, you should have had the option to install Documents to Go.

I think OP's upgrade might have occurred automatically via BB DM. It doesn't sound like something he actively did on his own. Not sure, unless I'm reading it wrong.

Anyways, I'd search around some more on the forum to see if anything comes up. In the meantime, hopefully this might help shed some light:

Installing Documents To Go - question

Documents to go reinstall software - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com <--check out post #2 for the OTA link. I have not tried it myself so I don't know if it works or not.

Great! Glad to hear you got it. Did you have to upgrade your OS or did you just install the Doc2Go?
