| Dead Pearl! Please Login to Remove! I've got a pearl that I keep as a backup. I got it as a warranty replacement, and then immediately upgraded my phone, so it's only been used a day or so, then lived in my truck for the last year or so. My main phone took a crap, so I tried to charge up the Pearl, but it won't respond. I've tried to charge it over 24 hours, but it won't power up, no lights blink, nothing. However, when I plug it into a computer, the computer detects something (although Blackberry Manager doesn't recognize it). Am I totally out of luck here, or is there some trick that I'm missing here? Even if the battery was completely toast, would the phone still power up while plugged in? The phone still has the protective plastic on it and is in perfect shape. I'd hate to have to write it off as a total loss. |
