Default Deleted Handset Contacts Reappear After Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Manually deleted contacts on handset reappear after one way sync from Outlook to handset!
I have 2 way synced the handset with a blank outlook account, then deleted all the contacts within outlook and 2 way synced once again. (handset showed it has no contacts as expected. I also cleared address book cache from options/security menu and took the battery out).
When I attached the handheld to the pc that has the users outlook address book, and one way synced back to the handset. All manually deleted contacts reapear. I did note that not all contacts were synced from outlook to handset, as would happen if the handset already had these contacts in its address book.
The user does not wish to 2 way sync just in case his outlook address book gets messed up/corrupted.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Regards
Alan

One way sync means that Outlook will over ride the handheld. Any changes on the handheld will be lost when doing a one way sync from outlook to the blackberry...

That is correct! The contacts that reappear are not in Outlook...this is the problem!
