Hello, I have a 8120 pearl. I changed the charging socket today and all of a sudden the phone is not switching on. when battery is inserted red light blinks. A black battery logo with red stripe is displayed on the white screen. I tried many ways to re-install the OS or to wipe using desktop manager, application loader etc, but nothing is happening.

Request you to kindly help to get my phone back.

Try a battery you know is good and see what happens. If you still get the battery error symbol, then check and make sure the battery is tight in the compartment and the pins are pressing against the contacts on the battery. The pins and contacts should be clean and not corroded. I don't know what else to do.
