I recently upgraded to 4.5 and got everything back working- my gmail comes in, Facebook notifications, etc,.. but for some reason, after getting just a few SMS messages, I no longer receive them.
At times my little red light at top right blinks and nothing shows as having come in (don't know if this is related to my missing text messages).

What settings do I need to check to get my text messages back?

Did you check under Options and Text Messaging and see what is the service center number there and the "Network to Send over" make sure these settings are what your provider tells you. I dont have CDMA/Sprint fone so I am not sure what those settings should be. Also see if receiving the messages is disabled if roaming.

Under Options/"SMS Text" ( I assume that is what you mean by "Text Messaging" there is no service center number or "Network to Send over".
What I have is:

Priority (options are 'normal' or 'urgent')
Callback number
555-555-5555 (-my phone number)
Disable Autotext (options are 'yes' or 'no')
Number of Previous Items (# of SMS messages on my phone at the time)


Do these things vary with the theme that one is using? I'm using one called Precise 2.1, and it's a 'Today" type of theme.
