Pearl 8120 Free Wifi
 

Hi,

I have read threads how to enable Pearl 8120 to use free Wifi connections. I have a question: In my browser options I have "hotspot browser" not "Wifi browser"? Does that make any difference?

On my device, I only have tzones and hotspot browser for my options. And it did make a difference which I used when connecting to free wifi (didn't have a data plan back then).

In your case, I say try to use the browser you have available. Worse case scenario is you simply can't get online. So no harm there. Another option might be using a 3rd party browser like Opera Mini or Bolt.

Hotspot browser is the same as WiFi browser. Different carriers call it different things but it's really all the same.
