has anyone else had this? I search for a certain address and it gives me an alternative but it isn't close to where I want to be. I "follow" the roads to where I know should be but all I get is blank maps with the main road going thru.

as a comparison, google maps doesn't find the correct address either, but it does pick a location less than a mile away. and it can find the road its on.

try 1920 old peachtree road, buford, ga 30519, let me know what you find.

edit: can I download a new set of maps, perhaps?

There are no upgrade maps to download. The maps are downloaded as needed.

i also think they are an old set of maps... there are newer roads in Dallas (freeways) that are not on the map... (google maps has them though)

it is funny though. it gives me squares of diagonal lines like it knows it needs new maps for the roads, it has creeks and the main road going thru but there is a large section where there are just no streets. I thought they all worked on pretty much the same data bases for mapping. strange that the two are so different.
