I'm using the original TMO version of the 8100 OS and the "Hide Filed Messages" feature doesn't seem to be working correctly.

When I set "Hide Filed Messages" to "YES" the messages I filed, into non synchronized folders seem to hide as expected.

However, when I have "Hide Filed Messages" set to "YES" When I read a new message, which come through my BES server, those messages dissapear after they are marked read. The messages still appear in my Outlook INBOX.

However, until I set the "HIDE FILED MESSAGES" setting to "NO" the messages stay hidden. Once I set it to "NO" the read mesages re-appear.

I couldn't find any related threads and wondered if it was related to a bug in the 8100 OS or to a bug in the BES server (4.0.4.3)

I dont even freaken have a file messages!
i reformated and it dissapeared

It show back up after you set up your BES connection again.

It works fine for me. I am on Domino BES 4.1 latest SP. I file every day.

sigh... I'm working now on testing an upgrade to BES 4.1 from 4.0.5a.3 in an Exchange environment. Maybe I'll finish the test upgrade today and upgrade the production before the weekend is out and see if that fixes my issue.

Otherwise, if nobody else is experiencing this issue, I may do a device wipe and start over again. argh.

I am experiencing this exact same issue, started a few nights ago - did you find a solution - this is very troubling.
