me too, I'm thinking of deleting the tmo.blackberry email account on the phone.

I get 1 email to my regular email address, then I get the duplicate one from my blackberry email address.

edit...

I didn't delete anything yet.

But I started thinking. On my main email account, I have it forwarding messages to my blackberry email address.
Do I need to do this? If not, then this would explain my dupes.

Because, if the bb is configured to check my main email, why would I need to forward my main email emails to the bb email address.

make sense?

Am I correct?

You answered your own question. If you have your email setup through BIS then you don't need to auto forward from your email account. One or the other will suffice. That would be why you get two emails.

All messages will show up in the main "Messages" folder. Each email address you setup also has it's own folder if you are on BIS 2.0 or higher. Depending on the theme you use you may have yet another folder for SMS/MMS. There is no way around this. Everything goes to "Messages." You can hide icons by placing the cursor on the icon you want to hide and pressing the menu button and selecting hide application.

Which themes have a separate message mailbox for SMS/MMS? I don't want my personal text messages mixed in with my business e-mail, etc in that generic, large message folder...

I use O2 Zen at present. It has a separate folder for SMS/MMS. There are a few other themes that have separate folders as well, I believe.
