I have a quick question. I am a newly converted tmobiler switching over from sprint. I was with sprint since the startac days, almost 7 years and finally switched. I had the treo for 2.5 years now and loved how it consolidated everyone's text message to one conversation. pretty much like a AIM conversatio. is there a program that utilizes this? i am tired of having all of these messages in random order. Oh, I have the 8100 pearl.

Nope...havent found on and one doesn't exsist...would love it but not going to happen....No other phone that I have used or seen (been through alot) compares to the Treo's text application. The BB is close cause it threads the previous text back and fourth but not the same as the Treo does

Sorry I wish the same thing,
Brian

At least on my bb they show up in a random order in the list, but if you open the message it will show you the messages back and forth from you to that person. Not too sure if thats how you wanted it or if you wanted it it to group the messages by conversation (a la Gmail)

On the Treo's messaging app...it will only show the name of the person you are talking to ONCE and then you open it up and it shows the conversation...unlike the Pearl where you get all the messages that you received from that person and then you open it up and you get the back and forth conversation

No problem...oh and by the way Windows Mobile, or S60 doesn't do it either...I was talking to a developer for the S60 when I had it and he said he was going to make one but wasn't sure when and there is a program out for the UIQ that does it. Just to give you a heads up on looking at other phones that might have it...been through them all and found out that they don't have anything close
