First post here. Considering a Pearl. Or the new Tmobile version of the Excalibur due on Monday. But what's this BB 8800 I see posted here? What's that supposed to do. And when's it due. Thanks for the answers in advance.

It's very similar to the Pearl in terms of the track ball, and the size, but with a full QWERT keyboard, and some version MIGHT have an mp3 player and/or camera (tho my sources at Rogers deny that)

it's due either end of this year, or next fall (conflicting reports so far :S)

Default hello

Newest info seems to indicate that the 8800 will have a camera and WiFi. Also will have media capabilities.

Should be an awesome device about the same thickness as the pearl, a little wider though. Full QWERTY!

Running 4.2

Thats about all we know.....
Maybe by the end of this year for GSM carriers.

I am interested in this device as well! If its basically a pearl but handheld design then I really want it.

It would be great to have a BB handheld with media functions and a camera!

Would the bb8800 really come out by the end of 06, and the 8100 being released last month? Seems like its too soon to me
