I just got the pearl the other day and it's awesome....but then i went on MyTmobile and tried to download a ringtone. It sent an email to my pearl with a url to download the ringtone. Well, i clicked on it and then it just froze. So then i turned it off and back on and tried it again..and again..and again. It keeps freezing!!! HELP!! what's wrong? should i exchange it or is this fixable? THANKS!

Try to pull the battery then put it back to see if it helps. Mine froze once after I loaded bbweather onto it and i fixed it by pulling the battery.

There is probably something going on with your browser settings or your URL in the e-mail is NOT correct. Try sending yourself another URL in an e-mail and see if that one works. If it does not, then do the below.

Go into <settings>

<advanced>

<browser push>

and change everything to "enable" and "allow all"

Make sure to save the settings.

That aside, whenever your screen freezes, take your battery out, leave it out for about 10 seconds, then reinsert it.

So far everyone on the Net has said the above is the best "reset" procedure for the Pearl.

I have some videos crashing to where the current frame just freezes on top of anything else. The phone is working behind the pic, but I cannot get rid of the pic. Remedy? The ol' pull the battery out reset procedure.
