You can't store applications/themes on the card, it's only for music/ringtones/pictures

Correct..... plus any file one wants to store in the parent directory.

I have used it to "carry" some Word files from work to my house.

By the way, once you "turn on" media card support on the Pearl, the Pearl will create file folders on the chip so you can place your music, videos, etc. in the correct folders on the chip.

See below which is my Folder View of the chip on my desktop PC:

it does say 36.91 on that page. When you go to buy it use the google checkout option towards the bottom of the page and you will get instant $10 off for using the google checkout.

Also, on that note...You cannot store video files on the phone. Video files must be on the MicroSD card if you want them to show up correctly in the Video folder on the phone.

I am baffled. I just installed a 2GB microSD card into my Pearl. The phone is flashing a white screen and blinking the red light. What do I do? Is something wrong or is that normal? Thanks.

Take the 2Gig card out, or upgrade your OS to Rogers. T-Mobile OS don't work with 2Gig

I went through ESmartBuy at Amazon. I paid $33 for the 1GB Kingston. It is now $28. I got the two I bought within three days of my order.
