Default Unlocked 8100 / MMS does not work

Please Login to Remove!

I have seen a few "unlocked" threads with this topic mentioned in them, but no clear resolution. I recently unlocked my T-Mobile Pearl (thanks to GSMphonesource!) and activated it on Cingular. However, I am not able to send a MMS. I know this is a known issue, but has anyone found a way to fix it? I was on the phone with various Cingular tech support today and nothing helped.

I would like to find out the answer to the same question. I do have the MMS option but it "X"'s out when I try to send a picture.

From what I've seen on this site Cingular does not support MMS at all.

I don't think that's true. I had a Treo 650 on cingular and it worked. The tech support & CS would of told me that upfront. Unless this is a Cingular/Blackberry issue. Given they don't have any BB's with cameras, etc. However, I was able to receive MMS with my old 7130c.

Exactly what I get when I try to send a MMS. I also get this when I try emailing a picture.
