Default No update from T-Mobile yet.

I logged on to my.t-mobile.com today and noticed that they have a link called "system upgrade" where they have instructions and downloads for the desktop manager and phone software. I'm not sure if this is it but I thought I would give you guys the heads up.

It is actually the stocked version (4.2.0.42).

My mistake, I got excited and miss read the version. Any word on when T-Mobile is going to release it? I don't understand why their update would take any longer than Rogers

Rogers hasn't had an "update" so to speak. Rogers got the Pearl after T Mobile that's why there was an updated OS. That being said it's stock so there is no new update for Rogers yet.

You can use the Rogers update. I have T-Mobile with the Rogers update installed. Everything works just as it should.

And how should it work? I have my T-Mo's Pearl and I love it: what am I missing here?

The rogers OS update fixed a few bugs found in stocked tmo version. The most prominent one is moving the trackball silent the ringer. Do a search on this forum you will find plenty of discussions.
