Just to let you know, we DO have the skin posted to our website, but won't have them in stock until next week. Our skin covers your buttons while leaving the jog wheel untouched, thereby not causing any missed phone calls for those with the "touch the jog wheel, lose your ring" problem.

The price tag is a little steep but i'm too anxious and can't wait for imitation or discounted Seidio products to seep onto eBay so I bought one, i'm looking forward to testing this one out ;)

thats awesome!!! untill the battery door falls off due to a rim design flaw.

I personally ordered a "skin" for the 8100 so i wouldn't lose the door. It appears that your clip doesn't really protect the loose door.

About the crystal skin: Does it protect the screen or is that another product? Can't tell from the pictures on your website.

I love the case but won't it muffle the ring tone a lot? It looks like that top clip is blocking the opening for sound. Anyone have any experience with it yet?

Unless you place your device in a case, this provides the best possible protection as it locks your BB in place very securely and allows the screen, the most vulnerable part, to face inwards.

That is a manufacturing defect that RIM should be addressing. A skin is defintely the best way to go as far as keeping all your parts together.
