I am having an issue with my scroll ball. I opened an email and went to scroll down and felt a slight click. Now it will not scroll down at all! It will scroll up and from side to side, but not down. This renders the ball almost completely useless, as 75% or more of my scrolling is in the downward direction.

Anyone have any advice on what to do?

*Edit* I just looked at my receipt...today is my 14th day. Should I just take it back to the store?

YES! Take it back. Something obviously broke in there.

Well I just went to the T-mo store and the scrolling down mysteriously started working again, right as they were about to give me a new phone. They made a "note" in my file on their computer and told me that if it happens again in the next month or 2 that they would replace it, even though I'm passed my 14 days after today. So we'll see how it holds up.

Probably dust or something between the ball and the sensor. Try blowing on it next time.
