Default modem but no dial tone?

Please Login to Remove!

I have the blackberry pearl from T-mobile and have filled out everything per the instructions from this website (and others, they're all the same), but I get a 680 error message saying the computer can't dial because there is no dial tone. I'm sure this is something wrong with my computer and it's easy to fix, but I haven't a clue how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I followed the instructions perfectly and had no problems. Try deleting it, and starting over from scratch.

It sounds like you chose the computer's modem, not your BB modem. Make sure when your setting up the connection, that you select the correct modem. If you try to connect to an ISP like AOL using dial up and you forget to connect the phone line, you'll get the same error message.
