Wink Fix for the Rogers Green Light after call bug!!

Please Login to Remove!

well i found a fix for the bug.. The bug is when you recieve a call the status light stays green and will not shut off.
THE FIX: Turn off trackball lighting when you recieve a call!!!
you know the option to make your trackball light up when you get a call make sure its set to off!!! And you will not have this issue anymore.
If you never turned the light on in the first place and still get this bug turn it on hit save and then turn it off and hit save again!!!

CHEERS!

I don't have that issue with my BlackBerry with the Rogers OS but I tried it with one that does have that issue and your fix didn't work. I told my friend to just keep his status indicator light off until the next update comes.

So then how many people are having this issue and what could be the cause of just a handfull of us having it and a handfull not having this issue?

I just did a controled test with the trackball lighting on and the BB got stuck with a full green light after picking up the call...

With the trackball lighting off after picking up the call evrything was fine and the LED blinked green again like it is suppose to do..

I don't know why I don't have this issue at all but I am glad I don't I have had some bad luck with a few of my past BlackBerries but this one has been uber stable for me (knock on wood)

I have the issue as well...I just shut off the wireless for a moment and the the light goes back to normal. This is a trade-off I can live with in order to use my 2GB card.
